How The 1st Round of 2025 Fantasy Drafts Should Go

Here's your tip for this week...

Hey - it’s me!

Here’s your tip for this week - it’s to start looking at the landscape for 2025 drafts (even if it’s just for fun).

Because the 1st round of 2025 drafts is going to look a lot different than 2024.

See for yourself:

#1 Ja’Marr Chase

He set a career high in targets, yards & TDs in 2024.

Chase finished as the WR1 despite Tee Higgins averaging 9 targets per game. And entering 2025 there’s a strong chance Higgins is no longer a Bengal...

#2 Saquon Barkley

He finished 2024 with 2283 total yards – 13th best in NFL history.

Saquon turns 28 in February but has shown 0 signs of slowing down He’ll enter 2025 behind this same elite O-Line that just had 3 guys make the Pro Bowl...

#3 Bijan Robinson

He thrived in the new Zac Robinson led offense this year.

Bijan led the NFL in yards created & averaged a whopping 22 opportunities per game. This led to him totaling 1887 yards & 15 TDs.

The best part? Robinson is just 22 years old…

#4 Justin Jefferson

It felt like a quiet year at times for Jefferson in 2024. But then you look up & he totaled 1533 yards & 10 TDs with Sam Darnold.

He’s in good hands no matter who his QB is thanks to his talent level & Kevin O’Connell’s play calling...

#5 Nico Collins

He was on pace for 2200 yards before getting hurt in Week 5.

Collins proved he's Strouds #1 WR ahead of Stefon Diggs & Tank Dell. And there’s a chance Dell (injury) & Diggs (free agent) don’t play for the Texans in 2025…

#6 Puka Nacua

Despite battling injuries – Puka still finished as the #2 WR in points per game.

And he did this despite only scoring 3 TDs.

The Rams could move on from Cooper Kupp this offseason – but even if they don’t Kupp turns 32 in June. Puka is hard to ignore in 2025...

#7 CeeDee Lamb

It was a frustrating year for Lamb due to injuries & Dak Prescott missing half the year.

But let’s not forget – Lamb was the #1 overall player in 2023. And despite a frustrating year – he still finished as a Top 10 WR in points per game...

#8 Jahmyr Gibbs

He was the #2 RB in points per game this year totaling 1929 yards & 20 TDs.

And we really saw his elite upside the final 3 games without David Montgomery. During this time - Gibbs averaged 162 yards on 26 touches per game…

#9 Malik Nabers

He set the rookie WR reception record despite a terrible situation.

Nabers had to deal with bad QB play, poor O-Line & inconsistent coaching. Despite this he still finished as the #7 overall WR in his rookie year.

His situation should only improve entering 2025…

#10 Amon-Ra St. Brown

He finished as a Top 5 WR totaling 1263 yards & a career-high 12 TDs.

There’s a chance the Lions offense takes a slight step back in 2025 with Ben Johnson leaving. But St. Brown has been too consistent to drop out of the Top 10 early on…

11. De’Von Achane

His workload increased by 33% opportunities per game in 2024. This led to Achane totaling 1499 yards & 12 TDs.

And he led all RBs with 78 receptions. Achane proved he can handle a larger workload this year - making him a strong pick in 2025…

12. Brian Thomas

Since the Jaguars Week 12 bye – Thomas averaged 22.9 points per game

He was the #2 WR in fantasy during this time.

Thomas did this despite playing with bad QBs, poor O-Line & less than ideal coaching. There’s a good chance his environment improves in 2025…
