Meet the Rookie RB Who Might Be This Year’s Bucky Irving

This guy could be the next PPR cheat code

Happy Friday!

Let me put a name on your radar: RJ Harvey.

He’s 24 years old. Undersized. Probably goes late in the draft.

But the fantasy upside? It’s very real.

Harvey posted back-to-back 1,400-yard seasons at UCF, averaged over 6.5 YPC for 3 straight years, and added over 200 receiving yards every season.

At the Combine, he ran a 4.40 40-yard dash and flashed 95th percentile speed. He also moves — some of the best lateral agility and acceleration in this class.

And despite his size? The dude runs angry. Bounces off contact. Great vision. Great pad level. Proven pass catcher. Shades of Bucky Irving.

🚨 If he lands on a depth chart like the Colts or Packers, he’s the kind of guy you’ll want stashed late in redraft or snagged earlier in dynasty.

He’s got clear flaws — age, pass protection, short-yardage decision-making — but if a team lets him work in space?

Harvey could be a fantasy weapon.

I’ll be breaking down more rookies like Harvey over the next few weeks — stay tuned.

Talk soon,

Sal

P.S. — I’ve already started mixing Harvey into some of my early best ball drafts on Underdog.

He’s free right now… but probably won’t be for long.
