Week 13 Fantasy Football News To Know

Read this Before Week 13 begins...

Hey there!

I hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving!

It was a busy week with the holiday - so I want to make sure you’re all caught up on the important NFL news.

Here are 20 key takeaways to know for your fantasy leagues in Week 13:

Breece Hall is trending to play

He’s dealing with a knee injury but practiced on Friday. Hall will face the Seahawks 23rd ranked run defense.

One more thing: Braelon Allen is worth a stash this week…

Trevor Lawrence is questionable

But the most recent reports state he’s planning to play. He’s missed the past 2 games with an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.

If Lawrence plays – Brian Thomas becomes a strong start this week…

Josh Downs is OUT

And Alec Pierce is also questionable for the Colts. Expect a larger role for Adonai Mitchell.

He saw a bigger role in Week 10 and produced 13 points on 6 targets…

DeVonta Smith is questionable

He’s dealing with a hamstring injury but was able to practice on Thursday & Friday. Hamstrings take on average 2-3 weeks to return from.

Smith suffered this injury about 10 days ago – there’s a chance he’s limited if he plays…

Brian Robinson will play

And Austin Ekeler was ruled out for the Commanders. Robinson was off the final injury report so he should be close to a full go.

And there’s a chance he sees more passing game work with Ekeler out…

Dalton Kincaid is OUT

Dawson Knox will start again. He ran 82% of the routes in Week 11 without Kincaid. This led to Knox earning 40 yards on 6 targets…

DK Metcalf will play

He practiced in full on Friday. Metcalf will face the Jets – who have a bottom 10 defense the past month.

DK is averaging 7 targets per game since returning from his knee injury in Week 11…

Brock Purdy is questionable

But he plans to play Sunday Night. Now the other issue is the weather in Buffalo. The projected point total has dropped 4 points already

Pass catchers are hard to start if the forecast keeps trending poorly…

Will Dissly will play

The Chargers TE practiced in full on Friday. Dissly has earned 5+ targets in five of his last seven games. This week he takes on the Falcons #8 ranked coverage unit…

Darnell Mooney will play

He didn’t practice on Friday - but this was non-injury related. Drake London is also expected to play after being limited on Thursday.

The Falcons WRs will take on the Chargers Top 10 secondary…

Cedric Tillman has yet to practice this week

He’s battling a concussion. If Tillman can’t go – Jerry Jeudy would see more of Patrick Surtain on the outside against Denver.

This could make Elijah Moore a solid FLEX option…

Tank Bigsby will play

He practiced in full all week. Bigsby averages 9.6 touches in his completed games with Travis Etienne active this season.

Both Jaguars RBs are sits this week…

Jalen Coker is OUT

He was out last week - and it led to increased usage for David Moore. Moore led the Panthers with a 32% target share in Week 12.

He’s a FLEX option this week against the Bucs bottom-5 secondary…

Tyjae Spears is expected to play

He was able to clear the concussion protocol on Friday. Tony Pollard averages 116 yards per game with Spears out compared to 73 yards with Spears active.

Pollard is still a start – but temper your expectations with Spears back…

Keon Coleman is questionable

He was able to practice in limited fashion all week. Coleman is trending to play Sunday Night. He’s finished as a Top 20 WR in 2 of his last 3 games…

DeMario Douglas is questionable

But he was able to practice all week. Douglas leads the Patriots WRs with 5.3 targets per game.

If active – he’ll face the Colts who allow the 6th most receiving yards per game…

Noah Brown will play

He popped up on the injury report with a knee issue on Thursday. But Brown was able to practice on Friday & will now play this week.

He quietly leads the team with 26 targets the past month...

That’s all for now gang!

Talk to you on Monday for the Week 14 waivers discussion!
