Your Week 2 Final Update

The key news from last night you need to know...

Hey - I’m back again.

Week 2 is just hours away and before it begins you need to know the important news that came in last night:

#1 AJ Brown is highly questionable

He couldn’t practice on Saturday with a hamstring injury. This appears to be a mid-week injury – like Tee Higgins last week. There’s a high chance Brown misses this game…

#2 Jayden Reed is now expected to play

He popped up on the injury report with a calf issue on Friday. Mid-week injuries aren’t great - it implies this is a new injury. But it doesn’t appear to be a big concern for his Week 2 status…

#3 Rome Odunze is trending to play

Both Keenan Allen & Rome Odunze are game-time decisions for the Bears. Keenan didn’t practice all week – but Odunze was able to practice Friday and is trending to play.

If Odunze is active - you can start him…

#4 Josh Downs is considered a true ‘50/50’ to play today.

He was surprisingly able to practice in full on Friday. Downs is trending in the right direction – but could be limited if he plays.

Regardless – add him if he’s available in your leagues…

#5 Jameson Williams will play.

He was able to practice in limited fashion all week. Williams earned a team-high 121 yards on 8 targets in Week 1. If he’s active – you start him…

#6 Josh Palmer is trending to play.

He couldn’t practice on Friday with a knee injury. But if Palmer can’t go – expect a bigger role for Quentin Johnston. Johnston quietly earned 20% of the team’s targets in Week 1…

#7 Jordan Love will not play.

He couldn’t practice all week – but here’s the good news, Love avoided being placed on IR. This is a good sign that he could be back as soon as Week 3…

#8 Christian McCaffrey lands on IR.

He'll miss at least 4 games - but likely closer to 6+ weeks.

Jordan Mason will operate as the 49ers RB1 once again. He set the 49ers record with 28 carries in Week 1. He’s a must start this week…

But before you go - you should also know about this crazy Underdog Promotion…

They have CeeDee Lamb’s line set at just 0.5 yards for this.

If he gets just 1 yard, you win (yes - it’s a free win).
