Week 7 Players You Need to Trade For...
Send these trades in your league ASAP...
Hey!
It’s Trade Thursday and here are the 5 best players to trade for before Week 7:
#5 Brian Robinson
He's quietly been one of the best backs in fantasy. Robinson has scored 10+ points in every game.
He’sthe lead back in a Top 10 offense that ranks 2nd in running plays per game. That's valuable. And so is his Week 7 matchup against the Panthers.
Carolina has been a 'get right' spot for RBs all season. We saw this last week when Bijan Robinson totaled 100+ yards & 2 TDs. The Panthers allow the 3rd most rushing yards per game.
Right now is the time to trade for Robinson…
#4 Brian Thomas
He's coming off his worst game of the season. Thomas earned just 3 catches for 27 yards in Week 6. And he dropped a touchdown. Not great - but check this out...
Thomas already has two Top-10 finishes this year. And he's earned 9 cheat code targets already.
The cheat code targets are deep targets of 20+ yards & redzone targets. These lead to big plays for fantasy football. Now we have to address something...
Evan Engram.
He returned Week 6 & caught 10 balls for 100+ yards. But his return shouldn't hurt Thomas too much. Engram operates in the short parts of the field mostly - this should hurt Christian Kirk more than Thomas.
Trade for Thomas and this next RB:
#3 Isiah Pacheco
He's expected to return between Weeks 9-12. If you're a playoff contender - go get Pacheco now because he may be less than a month from returning.
And make no mistake about it this is Pacheco's backfield once he returns. Reminder, In Week 1 - Pacheco earned 80% of the Chiefs snaps & 88% of the backfield carries.
Trade for him & this next guy:
#2 Josh Jacobs
He continues to put up solid performances. In Week 6 - Jacobs earned 90 yards on a strong 21 touches.
He's now played 66% of the snaps the past 2 weeks - it's clear that he's not splitting a backfield with Emanuel Wilson.
Jacobs now ranks 17th in expected points but only 28th in actual points. This means he's getting unlucky - and if you watch the games you know this. Jacobs has had 3 TDs called back by penalty this year.
Here's your takeaway:
Jacobs is a workhorse back in a Top 10 offense. His lack of TDs is opening up a buy low window. Trade for Jacobs while you still can…
#1 DK Metcalf
He's scored less than 10 fantasy points in back to back games. But he's been extremely unlikely. Let me explain...
Metcalf has been tackled at the 1-yard line twice. And last week he was 1-inch away from a touchdown - and later have a 52-yard TD called back by a phantom penalty.
That's not great - but here's some good news - Metcalf ranks Top 5 in the NFL in targets. And the Seahawks are throwing at the highest rate in the NFL.
I don't expect this to stop either because new play-caller Ryan Grubb is a pass-first coordinator.
Trade for Metcalf before his strong upcoming schedule hits.
But these names aren’t enough to help you dominate the trade market this week.
