Week 8 Players You Need to Trade For...
Send these trades in your league ASAP...
Hey!
It’s Trade Thursday and here are the 5 best players to trade for before Week 8:
#5 Chase Brown
He was the Bengals lead back in Week 7. Brown played 58% of the snaps & handled 71% of the RB carries. However...
He only produced 54 scoreless yards on his 17 touches. But the good news is his role continues to get stronger. Check this out...
Over the past 2 games - Brown has played 60% of the snaps & handled 67% of the Bengals carries. He ranks Top 10 in explosive run rate & is earning over 5 yards per touch.
Buy low on Brown - then trade for this next RB:
#4 Rico Dowdle
He returns from his bye this week. But before the bye week - coach Mike McCarthy stated Dowdle 'definitely needs to touch the ball more'.
Now usually I'd just say this is just coach speak - however...
McCarthy said something similar before the Cowboys Week 4 game against the Giants.
And in that game - Dowdle saw a season-high in snaps, touches and fantasy points. We might be able to trust McCarthy here. And check this out...
Dowdle has quietly produced 3 straight Top 25 finishes. He's also averaging 5 yards per touch & ranks 2nd in yards per route run among RBs.
Plus - Dowdle has a great end of year schedule against the Bengals/Panthers/Bucs.
Go get him & this next guy:
#3 Jaylen Waddle
Week 7 was supposed to be his bounce back week.
Waddle was coming out of his bye - with an extra week to prepare for a bad Colts secondary. So - Waddle had a good game right? Well...
He didn't.
Waddle caught just 1 ball for 11 yards. He's now failed to top 50 receiving yards in 5 straight games. However - things should change this week because...
Tua is expected to return for the Dolphins. In Waddle's only completed game with Tua this season - he earned over 100 yards on 5 catches.
And Waddle has strong matchups against the Cardinals, Rams and Raiders coming up.
Buy low on Waddle & this next WR
#2 Malik Nabers
The Giants offense looked bad in Week 7. It was their 1st game without stud left tackle Andrew Thomas - and his presence was missed. Check this out...
The Giants allowed 8 sacks against the Eagles in Week 7. And their offense averaged a gross 2.2 yards per play.
This info adds context as to why Malik Nabers had a down performance of just 4 catches for 41 yards. But here's the thing...
New York has another bad matchup vs. the Steelers this week. But after that their schedule eases up against the Commanders & Panthers poor defensive lines.
Now is the time to buy Nabers - who is still a Top 10 overall player rest of the season…
#1 Tyrone Tracy
Believe it or not - he's still available in 50% of leagues. Many people dropped him with Devin Singletary returning in Week 7.
But those people made a massive mistake because we were told Friday Tracy would still have a significant role. And he did.
Tracy played 67% of the snaps and led the backfield with 9 opportunities.
Tracy was the primary RB on early downs & passing downs. He operated as the clear RB1 ahead of Singletary.
Now maybe this was due to Singletary's return from injury. But at the same time - they told us Tracy would remain involved. And one more thing...
Tracy has a strong schedule coming up. He'll take on the Commanders, Panthers, Cowboys & Saints - who all have bottom-10 run defenses.
Trade for Tracy if you can...
