Your Week 10 Waiver Wire Guide

Read this before you make any waiver wire moves...

Hey!

I’m back for your weekly waiver wire tips

Week 9 is over and there’s important info you need to know.

Let’s break down the Top 5 adds:

#5 Drake Maye

Maye entered Week 9 battling a concussion - but was able to play.

He took on a Titans defense that allows the fewest passing yards per play this season. But despite the bad circumstances - Maye produced:

He threw for 205 yards & 1 TD - but added an impressive 95 yards on the ground.

Maye has now finished as a Top 12 QB in all 3 of his completed starts. But that's not all...

He looks legit.

Maye entered Week 9 ranking 1st in pressured completion percentage & Top 10 in downfield passing.

He's making the big throws - and looks calm under pressure. Add Maye and this next guy:

#4 Ray Davis

You need to stash the Bills rookie RB. He totaled 90 yards on just 6 touches in Week 9. And he broke another explosive play for a 63-yard TD.

But that's not all because Davis also earned a goal-line carry late in this game. The Bills clearly trust the rookie - and it's hard not to.

Davis ranks Top 10 in the NFL averaging 5.8 yards per touch.

Davis continues to be a weekly FLEX option in deeper leagues. But if James Cook were to miss time - Davis instantly become a league winner.

Stash Davis and this next WR:

#3 Ricky Pearsall

He returns from his bye week and is available in over 75% of leagues. Before the bye - Pearsall totaled 77 yards on 5 touches against the Cowboys.

Deebo Samuel was injured in Week 8 before the 49ers bye. And Jauan Jennings has been banged up the past month.

Pearsall will be a starter in 3 WR sets for the 49ers - but he could see more usage if Deebo or Jennings miss more time. And here's what you should know:

Pearsall is a fantastic route runner. He was able to win both out wide and in the slot in college. And he's also a great athletic - running a 4.41 40-time at the NFL combine.

Add Pearsall - and consider grabbing this next guy:

#2 Jahan Dotson

AJ Brown injured his knee and didn't return in Week 9. Early reports suggest Brown could miss 1-2+ weeks. If so - Dotson becomes an interesting add.

The Eagles traded a 3rd round pick for Dotson earlier this year. Since then - he's had multiple chances to contribute with Brown & DeVonta Smith injured.

Despite these opportunities - Dotson has struggled to produce. However...

In Week 10 he has a strong matchup against the Cowboys. Dallas allows the 3rd most receiving yards per play. Dotson operated as a clear starter once Brown left.

Add Dotson for his Week 10 matchup - then grab this next WR:

#1 Xavier Legette

He operated as the Panthers top WR with Diontae Johnson gone in Week 9.

Legette earned a team-high 25% of the targets despite missing some time in this game with a hand injury. Here's what this led to...

Legette totaled 39 yards & a touchdown on 5 touches. He's now scored 11+ fantasy points in 4 of his last 6 games.

And his day could've been even bigger - but he dropped a pass that resulted in a Bryce Young INT. And speaking of Young - this may have been the best he's looked all season.

Legette is a legit size/speed threat who dominates after the catch. In Week 10 - he has a solid matchup against the Giants.

You can pick up & play Legette - then grab these next guys:

More Names to Consider:

  • Trey Benson

  • Blake Corum

  • Jalen Tolbert

  • Hunter Henry

  • Adam Thielen

  • KhaDarel Hodge

  • Demario Douglas
